Whee, just came back from Genting (and KL). I know this post is super-duper late and I don't have any excuses for that. Reason why I'm writing about this Genting trip is because it is unlike any of the previous trips that I've been to. I can now officially announce that I have been to, and played at the casino. Woot woot!
Yes its true! Yours truly has touched the slot machines in Genting, though I don't see it being an often thing in the near future. Its cause I am the 'kiasu' type, so most probably I won't be playing much. But it is interesting to see my parents play the slots. Dad has a 'strategy' of beating the odds, while mum is the 'if it is to be, it will be' type. So far, Ah Pa's strat seems to be working.
Also, Ah Pa and Ah Mi was talking about 'Zorro' every time we were up in Genting last time, so I was interested in this 'Zorro'. Although I did not see Ah Mi play 'Zorro' (its Ah Mi's favourite apparently), I did get to see Ah Mi play 'Penguins'. It was so interesting. The way the penguins jump here and there and also the random features that would appear when Ah Mi was playing was very very cute. Heh. Once in a while, Ah Mi would tap the glass to 'call' the penguin to give more random features too. Nice to see mum play like that, and I now know why Ah Mi likes to play in the casino. As for Ah Pa, he also enjoys himself. Ah Pa constantly says, he plays to win, and win he does.
So when the day ends, both Mum and Dad comes home happy. Dad won money, Mum got to relax a lil. As for me, well, I can't say too much. After all, I mostly just watched after I gotten through my family's rite of passage, as Sa Ee puts it. Heh.
